Mason Greenwood is being linked with a huge European club, and a potential transfer could heavily influence Arsenal’s dealings in the transfer window.
Greenwood signed for Ligue 1 side Marseille following his Manchester United exit in 2024 and has performed well for the French outfit, registering 16 goals – the second-most of any player in the league – in 32 appearances last term, while also providing seven assists.
Despite his goalscoring exploits, Marseille's sporting director Gregory Lorenzi has suggested the club would be open to selling the 24-year-old this summer, recently telling L'Equipe: "If an opportunity presents itself, naturally, we will think about it."
Reports in France also claim Marseille would be open to offers, with Serie A side AS Roma and Turkish giants Fenerbahce interested in the former England international.

Both of Fenerbahce's presidential candidates, Aziz Yildirim and Hakan Safi, have stated their intention to bring Greenwood to the Istanbul club should they be elected.
Marseille value Greenwood at around €55 million (£47.5 million), with the player having three years remaining on his contract.
Greenwood move may benefit Arsenal
While United are reportedly set to receive a windfall, having inserted a 50 per cent sell-on clause when they sold Greenwood to Marseille for £26.6 million, a move could also benefit Mikel Arteta and Arsenal.
Arsenal and Barcelona are both being linked with Atletico Madrid forward Julian Alvarez, with the Gunners reportedly weighing up a move after previously showing interest in the Argentina international last summer.
Alvarez's potential move may be influenced by Greenwood's future, as the Englishman is now being linked with a move to the La Liga side, which could pave the way for the former Manchester City forward's exit.
Greenwood is also attracting interest from Saudi Pro League clubs.
Spanish outlet Fichajes claims Greenwood is seen as the "perfect striker" for Diego Simeone's tactical set-up, with the Argentinian valuing his pace and finishing prowess.
The outlet says any potential transfer for Greenwood would only happen if Alvarez were to leave the club this summer.
Greenwood previously played for Atletico's fellow Madrid-based side Getafe during a season-long loan spell from Manchester United in 2023.
Greenwood left boyhood club United in July 2024, having not played for the side since being arrested in 2022 before later being charged with attempted rape, controlling and coercive behaviour, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He strongly denied all the allegations, and the UK's Crown Prosecution Service discontinued proceedings against him.
