Former Manchester United striker Mason Greenwood is reportedly at the top of a European club's transfer wishlist.
Despite finishing the 2025/26 campaign as Ligue 1's joint second-highest scorer, with 16 goals in 32 appearances, while also registering seven assists, Greenwood's days in the south of France appear to be numbered.
Just last week, Marseille sporting director Gregory Lorenzi confirmed that the Ligue 1 giants would be open to offers for the 24-year-old in an interview with French outlet L'Équipe.
When asked about his stance on a sale, he said: "He [Greenwood] is one of the players that we are really thinking about [with regard to] their future. If an opportunity presents itself, naturally, we will think about it. But there is the club's position [and] that of the player. It is also up to us to manage internally to find the best possible solution for all parties."

Reports from France suggest Marseille value the former England international at around €55 million (£47.5 million), with the player having three years remaining on his contract.
Greenwood left boyhood club Manchester United in July 2024, having not played for the side since being arrested in 2022 before later being charged with attempted rape, controlling and coercive behaviour, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Greenwood strongly denied all the allegations, and the UK's Crown Prosecution Service discontinued proceedings against him.
As a result of the allegations, most clubs avoided attempts to sign the forward before he joined Spanish outfit Getafe on a season-long loan in 2023, before signing permanently for Marseille the following year.
Greenwood wanted by European giants
Despite his impressive goalscoring record at Marseille, it appears the striker could be set to move once more, with a report from BBC Sport claiming he is the top transfer target of both of Fenerbahçe's presidential candidates.
Aziz Yildirim, who previously served as club president between 1998 and 2018, and Hakan Safi are due to run for the presidency.
Fenerbahçe finished as Turkish Süper Lig runners-up for a fifth consecutive season behind Istanbul rivals Galatasaray last term, despite signing top players such as Ederson, Marco Asensio and Kerem Aktürkoğlu in 2025.
United reportedly included a sell-on clause when they sold Greenwood to Marseille for £26.6 million and would likely benefit from any future sale of the player.
Greenwood has also attracted interest from Serie A side Roma.
As per Türkiye Today, Borussia Dortmund forward Serhou Guirassy, AC Milan winger Rafael Leão, soon-to-be free agent Mohamed Salah and Atlético Madrid forward Alexander Sørloth are also on Fenerbahçe’s radar.
