Details of Harry Kane's secret Bayern Munich release clause have emerged, which could pave the way for his 'dream' transfer.

Kane joined Bayern from Tottenham for £86 million in the summer of 2023.

And he has enjoyed an ultra-prolific spell with the German giants, scoring an impressive 98 goals in 103 games across all competitions.

Kane has already bagged 13 goals this campaign, having netted 41 goals last season.

He has less than two years left to run on his existing deal.

But the 32-year-old could depart Germany before the end of his contract under one condition.

According to German outlet Bild, Kane can leave Bayern next summer for £56.7 million as long as he announces his intention to leave before the end of the January transfer window.

His future has been clouded by uncertainty following a slew of different reports about his Bayern career.

A report in Spain from August claimed that the forward is seriously considering a return to the Premier League, with a move to Liverpool touted as his preferred destination.

But a potential Liverpool pursuit appears unlikely given they have shelled out around £200 million to sign Hugo Ekitike and Alexander Isak during the summer transfer window.

Ekitike joined from Eintracht Frankfurt for an initial fee of £69 million while Isak commanded a British-record £125 million.

However, considering Kane's ability and record in the Premier League, if he was to become available, then, naturally, being one of the biggest clubs in Europe, Liverpool could be alerted to the situation.

The England captain is also attracting interest from Spurs, who could look to re-sign their former star player.

Manchester City and Manchester United, who have held a long-standing interest, are thought to be keeping tabs on his situation, too.

Kane has 213 Premier League goals to his name - only Alan Shearer has scored more than him in England's top flight.

A return to England could see him rival Shearer's record of 260 goals.

Kane was a prolific scorer in the Premier League and registered 30 league goals in his final term at Spurs.
