Chelsea have transfer listed nine players in the wake of their 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace, it has been claimed.
The Blues, who in the summer were crowned Club World Cup champions, allegedly want to significantly reduce the size of their squad.
Indeed, the Telegraph have reported that Chelsea are looking to arrange sales or loans for Raheem Sterling, Nicolas Jackson, Christopher Nkunku, Axel Disasi, Renato Veiga, Carney Chukwuemeka, Ben Chilwell and potentially Tyrique George over the next fortnight.
Sterling spent the season on loan at Arsenal last term, but struggled to have an impact. While the preference of Chelsea and the player would reportedly be to find a permanent solution to his future, another loan is not being ruled out.
The publication added that the 30-year-old would like to remain in the Premier League and preferably London, though should the right opportunity present itself he could be willing to look elsewhere in the Premier League and overseas.

Fulham are among the clubs to have been linked to Sterling, who has two years remaining on his Chelsea deal.

Elsewhere, Jackson is widely reported to have been told he is not part of Maresca’s first team plans. Napoli are searching for a striker following and injury to Romelu Lukaku and could reportedly be interested, while Aston Villa are the latest English club to be linked.
Bayern Munich have allegedly held talks over signing Christopher Nkunku, though have only so far proposed a loan rather than a sale, with the latter being Chelsea’s preference.

Veiga is said to be attracting interest from Villarreal, while Chukwuemeka wants to return to Borussia Dortmund, whom he spent time with on loan last season.
The Telegraph have added that Chelsea believe they will raise nearly £300m in player sales upon the end of the window, which would take their net spend to close to zero.
