Raheem Sterling looks set to finally leave Stamford Bridge as a Premier League club eye a double transfer from the London club.
Sterling spent last season on loan at Chelsea’s London rivals Arsenal but struggled to nail down a regular starting spot and subsequently returned to Stamford Bridge.
The former Manchester City and Liverpool star has not featured for Chelsea this season after Enzo Maresca has made it clear that the 30-year-old is not part of his plans.
Sterling has been forced to train alone for the entirety of the 2025/26 season, and rejected a move to Bayern Munich on deadline day.

A report from The Athletic claimed the England international was “reluctant to move his family to Germany, or be away from them, for what could be nine months, especially with little guarantee of featuring regularly”.
Sterling was also said to be keen on staying in the London area, and according to TeamTalk, the 31-year-old could finally have his escape route.
The outlet claim that Fulham are interested in taking the Chelsea outcast on loan, after having a bid rejected for PSV Eindhoven striker Ricardo Pepi.
According to the report, Chelsea would be willing to cover a huge part of Sterling's £325,000 weekly wage to secure his move away with Palace also interested as an alternative to Spurs' Brennan Johnson.
Fulham want Sterling as part of double transfer
Sterling isn't the only Chelsea star on Marco Silva's radar, with the report also suggesting they have made a fresh enquiry with Chelsea about Tyrique George, who they almost signed last season.
The 19-year-old has only featured four times in the Premier League this season for the Blues, but scored twice across appearances in the Champions League and Carabao Cup.
Despite his lack of game time, it is still unknown if Chelsea will let George leave the club this January given he is still highly rated at Stamford Bridge.

Speaking this month on Sterling, Maresca surprisingly opened the door at a possible return to the squad for Sterling, however an exit remains the most likely outcome.
"In terms of Raheem, once again it’s the same thing I said about Axel, they are Chelsea players. Now also we are in December, January is coming, so anything can happen with him," Maresca explained.
