England winger Anthony Gordon has been spotted speaking another language after showing off his fluent Spanish during his Barcelona unveiling.
Gordon, 25, completed a medical on Thursday (May 28) before being unveiled as a Barcelona player on Friday (May 29) after Newcastle and the La Liga champions agreed a £69.3million transfer fee.
And much like Trent Alexander-Arnold did during his Real Madrid unveiling last summer, Gordon delivered part of his speech in fluent Spanish.
When asked how he learned the language, he revealed he had wanted to play for Barca since he was "three years of age".

"I wanted to speak Spanish because, as a kid, I believed I would play football for Barca, believe it or not," he told reporters.
"I have a physio in Newcastle and we spoke every day. I told him, 'One day I'll play for Barca, so I want to learn Spanish.'
"I found out very late [about Barcelona's interest], but as soon as I knew Barca were a serious option, there wasn't any question.
"Barca are the biggest club on the planet. It is stuff I dreamed [about] as a child."

Gordon, who also attracted interest from Bayern Munich, cannot officially join Barcelona until the summer transfer window opens on June 15, when the final formalities are expected to be completed.
But it was not just his Spanish that impressed fans.
The England international was also heard speaking Catalan – a language spoken in Catalonia, Valencia, Andorra and the Balearic Islands – while signing shirts before telling supporters he was "very happy" to join the club.

During his time at Newcastle, Gordon scored 39 goals and registered 28 assists in 152 appearances, helping the Magpies win the 2025 Carabao Cup and end the club's 70-year wait for a major trophy.
Speaking to Newcastle's website, he thanked supporters for their backing and said he would be a fan for the rest of his life.
Meanwhile, Gordon's unveiling did not go entirely to plan, with the event delayed by eight hours due to paperwork issues.
Addressing the delay, he said: "I knew it would happen. I have been very calm at the hotel with my family and agents. It's stuff I don't understand. My part was done, I was ready. It was stuff above me – legal things and very small details.
"I am very conscious of the history of this club and the incredible players who have worn this shirt. I'm ready for this challenge. There is a burning fire in my belly to win here."
The Liverpudlian is also set to be part of Thomas Tuchel's 26-man England squad for the upcoming World Cup in North America. He currently boasts 17 Three Lions caps, scoring twice.
