Scott McTominay has reportedly made it into the Ballon d’Or nominee list following his first season with Serie A champions Napoli.
McTominay, 28, made a shock move to Napoli from his boyhood club, Manchester United, last summer.
The Scot signed a four-year deal with the Italians and has since enjoyed his time in Naples.
McTominay contributed with 13 goals and six assists in 39 appearances in 2024/25, helping Antonio Conte’s side to just their fourth Italian top-flight title in the club’s history.

“It's amazing. The people are incredibly passionate, and they drive us through every single game.
“They're probably some of the best fans that I've ever played in front of. Because every game that we turn up, they're firing to push the team and to help. It's incredible.”
And the midfielder could soon be in the running for football’s most coveted individual prize, the Ballon d’Or.
PSG’s Ousmane Dembele is the current favourite to win the gong, having impressed during the French side’s treble-winning campaign, during which they won Ligue 1, the Champions League and the Coupe de France.
