Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly told new Al Nassr boss Jorge Jesus exactly who to sign just days after taking the job.
After a disappointing start to last season's Saudi Pro League campaign, Al Nassr parted company with Luis Castro and replaced him with Italian Stefano Pioli, formerly of Inter and AC Milan.
But he too was released with immediate effect following a third placed finish and returned to Italy with Fiorentina.
Al Nassr moved swiftly to bring in former Benfica boss Jesus, who had two different spells in Saudi managing Al Hilal.
Despite a flurry of rumours, Al Nassr have not been active in the summer transfer market but fresh reports from SPORT say Ronaldo has instructed his compatriot to go all out for Liverpool star Luis Diaz.
Despite lifting the Premier League title last term, Diaz appears to want out at Liverpool and has attracted interest from Barcelona and Bayern Munich - who had a £58.5 million bid rejected for the Colombia international.
It's claimed that Diaz would prefer to join Barcelona but the La Liga champions do not have the finances to secure the deal, with Liverpool setting an asking price of around £85 million.

Cristiano Ronaldo has more influence at Al Nassr
However, Ronaldo is said to have personally requested the signing of Diaz and wants him supplying him with crosses from the flanks.
After penning a lucrative contract renewal, Ronaldo is understood to have more power in decision-making at Al Nassr and his opinions are "being heard" by the top brass.
Al Nassr have tried to convince Diaz to move to Saudi before but have been unsuccessful in their attempts.
They are the only club that can afford to pay what Liverpool are demanding for the former Porto man but the next hurdle will be to get Diaz to commit to a move to the Middle East ahead of next year's World Cup.
