Cristiano Ronaldo Jr didn't hesitate when a popular streamer told him that Lamine Yamal is a better player than his dad.
Despite the fact that he is now 40 years old, Ronaldo is still considered by many to be one of the best football players in the world right now and is widely viewed as one of the greatest of all time.
Only a select few players across the top leagues in the world can currently be considered to be better than the Portuguese striker, who scored 25 goals in 30 appearances in the Saudi Pro League last season.
One player who many would argue is one of the best right now is Barcelona wonderkid Yamal, who is currently one of the favourites to win the Ballon d'Or this season.

But when the idea that Yamal was better than Ronaldo was put forward to the Real Madrid and Manchester United legend's son, he didn't even hesitate to hit back.

During a recent Twitch stream with American creator 2xRaKai, Ronaldo Jr. was asked to name his favourite footballer of all time is and, without even thinking, the 15-year-old replied: "My dad."
However, when the content creator hit back to suggest that Yamal was better than Ronaldo, the Portuguese star's son agreed but pointed out that there's one thing holding the youngster back.

He replied: "Right now? Yeah. But he hasn't won anything yet.
"Lamine is very good, but he still hasn’t won anything yet."
Despite Ronaldo Jr's claims, Yamal enjoyed highly successful 2024/25 season, winning a treble of La Liga, the Spanish Super Cup and the UEFA Super Cup and Euro 2024 with Spain.
The winger, who celebrated his 18th birthday at a controversial party last week, scored 18 goals and assisted 25 across 55 appearances in all competitions for Barcelona.

At the same age, Ronaldo scored five goals in 19 games for Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon in the 2002/03 season before moving to Manchester United at the end of the campaign for the first major chapter of his career.
However, although Yamal looks well on track to enjoy a career that could rival or surpass Ronaldo's, he has a long way to go yet before he catches the 40-year-old's legacy.
