Richard Keys has been slammed for his social media post about Sean Dyche following Nottingham Forest's goalless draw against Wolves.
Forest were held at home to Wolves on Wednesday in a hugely disappointing result.
The hosts had a staggering 35 shots but failed to score against Jose Sa.
The result proved to be Dyche's final game in charge of Forest, who made the shock decision to relieve him of his duties at the City Ground.
A statement read: "Nottingham Forest Football Club can confirm that Sean Dyche has been relieved of his duties as head coach.
"We would like to thank Sean and his staff for their efforts during their time at the Club and we wish them the best of luck for the future. We will be making no further comment at this time."
Dyche leaves Forest one place above the relegation zone, three points ahead of West Ham United.
Despite the sudden nature of the 54-year-old's dismissal, Keys predicted the sacking after Forest's draw against Wolves.
Well, kind of.

On X, he wrote: "If Dyche goes today would anyone be surprised?"
At the time of his post, Dyche had already been removed from his post, so Keys clearly hadn't checked social media or read the news.
Needless to say, fans online ridiculed Keys about his post.
One X user joked: "Well yes, because he went yesterday," while another said: "He has gone."
Another added: "Think you might be on to something here fella."

Forest are looking for their fourth manager of the season, having had Nuno Espirito Santo, Ange Postecoglou and, of course, Dyche.
And it appears the club are planning to bring Vítor Pereira back to the Premier League following his spell at Wolves.
According to Sky Sports, Forest are set to hold talks with Pereira about taking over as head coach.
The Portuguese was appointed by Wolves in December 2024 and kept them in the Premier League. He was sacked last November.
