Sean Dyche appeared to aim a dig at Ange Postecoglou after replacing him at Nottingham Forest.
Postecoglou was relieved of his duties following Forest's crushing 3-0 home defeat to Chelsea on Saturday.
He was sacked just minutes after the final whistle as a TNT Sports reporter revealed what happened in the tunnel moments before he was dismissed.
His spell in charge of Forest lasted just 39 days and he failed to win a game.

They swiftly appointed Dyche, who was out of work following his Everton dismissal in January, to replace Postecoglou.
On Wednesday, he spoke to the media for the first time as Forest manager and explained the approach he will take to the pitch.
In doing so, the veteran manager seemed to criticise Postecoglou - claiming he wants to bring 'effective football' to Forest.

Dyche also suggested 'fashionistas' don't often succeed in the Premier League in what seems to be a dig aimed at the Australian gaffer given his expansive playing style.
"I have seen enough fashionistas come in and out of this division," he said.
“You’ve got to win the games, it’s as simple as that.
“Long ball, short ball? You’ve just got to play effective football. That will never go out of fashion."

On Evangelos Marinakis' ruthless treatment of managers at Forest, Dyche added: "He’s well aware of the challenges.
“I don’t think he thinks it’s a gimme just because of last season."

He inspired Spurs to Europa League glory last season but could only manage a 17th place finish in the Premier League.
Could the 60-year-old make an immediate return to management given his return lasted just a little over a month?
Well, a report from Football Insider claims Postecoglou would 'definitely consider' a return to Scottish Premiership side Celtic if the opportunity arose at his old stomping ground.
Brendan Rodgers is currently in charge of Celtic, who trail league leaders Hearts by five points in the Scottish Premiership.

Postecoglou enjoyed a trophy-laden spell at Celtic, winning five major trophies, including two league titles.
