Nothing happens!

A few weeks ago we thought we had seen the worst penalty decision of all-time in a game between Senegal and South Africa when the referee bizarrely pointed to the spot - deeming a Senegal defender to handle the ball in the area when the ball clearly struck his near.

Well, somehow there's an even worse decision that has come to our attention.

In the Egyptian Premier League, Misr Le Makasa and Al Ahly locked horns in a top of the table clash and the game was decided by the most dubious penalty decision of all-time in the 22nd minute.

After some tidy build-up player, Al Ahly found themselves in a promising position when the ball was cut back from the right flank into the area but the cross was intercepted and it seemed like the move had broke down.

However, shockingly, the man in the middle awarded a penalty to the league leaders for reasons which are still not clear.

There's understandably all sorts of confusion and rage from the Makasa players and even Al Ahly players had no idea what the penalty had been awarded for.

You will watch the replay millions of times and still won't have a clue what the ref has seen. That's how bad it is.

Watch the mystery penalty decision here:

Even worse, Abdalla El Said stepped up and scored the penalty in what was the only goal of the game.

Al Ahly are now seven points clear of Makasa after the win, while 6th placed Zamalek have announced that they will not continue in the league due to "poor officiating".

With decisions like these, it's easy to see why.
