Luis Suarez celebrated scoring against former club Barcelona by making the gesture of a phone call to Ronald Koeman as he watched from the stands.
Last summer, the Uruguayan forward was left furious after Koeman told him he had no future at the Camp Nou.
It was reported that the Dutch manager spoke to Suarez in a phone call that lasted just 60 seconds, according to Spanish publication SPORT, who claimed the striker 'did not ask for more explanations, nor did the coach think it necessary to give them'.
In addition to the call, Suarez was not happy about how his exit was managed by those behind the scenes at Barcelona, and felt like he had been singled out for a drop in form.
Weeks later, he joined Atletico Madrid on a two-year deal and the rest is history.
Earlier this year, the 34-year-old revealed his shock at being told he was surplus to requirements at the Camp Nou.
"When Barcelona told me that they did not count on me it was hard, I did not expect it," he told El Transitor. "They were very difficult moments because of the manner [in which it happened].
"Koeman called me and told me that I was not in his plans. When Barcelona made it official that they did not count on me, conversations began with Atleti, with Cholo [Simeone], with Miguel Angel.
"There was interest from many clubs, not just Juventus. I wanted to make the right decision, the best for me and my family."

Since his arrival in Madrid, the experienced forward has been a huge success at the Wanda Metropolitano stadium and on Saturday night, in their La Liga clash against struggling Barcelona, the inevitable Suarez found the back of the net.
He proceeded to aim what is believed to be a phone gesture towards Ronald Koeman, who was in the stands due to suspension.
Of course, his actions picked up plenty of reactions from social media.
