An 11-year-old has been playing senior football over in Liberia.

Eric Marshall plays for FC Gar'ou in the African country's fourth division and has gone viral recently for playing with adults.

Wearing boots in children's sizes and with his shirt and shorts far too big for him, Marshall has slotted into central midfield and did not show any signs of being overawed by the incredible age and size difference.

You might have seen similar happen in a 'Dads vs Lads' fixture but to see it in a proper match is quite something.

We're not sure it's even legal for Marshall to be playing senior football at his age but as utterly bizarre as his highlights are, he didn't exactly look like a lost little boy.

In fact, the young lad was demanding the ball all the time and showed some lovely touches in possession.

In a recent outing, Marshall came on for his side when they were losing 2-0 to Mondee Lions and they went on to draw 2-2.

However, his club were forced to issue a statement as people expressed concerns for the youngster's safety.

It's said that Marshall is set to become the youngest player to Liberia Inter High School league but we're hoping he gets drafted into academy to further his development.

The player who holds the record for being the youngest to feature in a professional game is Bolivian Mauricio Baldivieso.

In 2009, his father Julio Baldivieso gave him his debut as a substitute at the age of 12.
