Marcus Rashford's stunning second-half performance against Omonia Nicosia shows he's on his way back to his best.

Rashford inspired Man United's comeback in the Europa League as they came from a goal down to beat their Cypriot opponents 3-2 on Thursday.

Erik ten Hag replaced Jadon Sancho, who was slammed by Paul Scholes, with Rashford at the break and the England international wasted no time making an impact.

He smashed home his side's equaliser, brilliantly finding the back of the net with a smart finish on the edge of the box.

Ten minutes later, Rashford turned provider as he set up fellow second-half substitute Anthony Martial.

He flicked the ball into the path of the Frenchman, who fired home a low drive to make it 2-1.

Rashford then bagged his second goal of the night when he scored from close range following Cristiano Ronaldo's ball across the box.

Aside from his goal contributions, the 24-year-old was efficient in possession and linked impeccably with Martial.

A compilation of his showing for Man United makes for incredible viewing.

Man United fans online love Rashford's game-changing outing in Cyprus.

One Twitter user wrote: "He might make the difference for England in Qatar."

A second tweeted: "I keep saying this thing that Rashford and Martial’s partnership is great. This two have a great chemistry and understand themselves. "

A third added: "He looks electric. I’ve watched this at least 3 times and I think he’s as fast as he’s ever been. Nobody is stopping him like this."

Another commented: "He’s stepping up at the right time."

Speaking after the game, Rashford touched on his partnership with Martial.

"He's a massive player he has been for a long time, when he's happy and at it, he's an unbelievable player," he said.

"I've always enjoyed playing with him, it was nice to link up with him today, we'll be looking to do that more and more.

"We've both been injured, him so a little longer than me, so it's nice to get minutes and for the second game in a row he's scored."
