Manchester United fan produces hilarious reaction to Erling Haaland’s stunning start in the Premier League

Haaland has hit the ground running since his summer move to Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund

A Manchester United fan has produced a hilarious reaction after seeing Erling Haaland score back to back hat tricks for Manchester City. You can watch the footage below.

The fan was filmed reacting after Haaland completed a 38 minute hat trick during City’s 6-0 thrashing of Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night.

“This fella needs to f**k off, he’s scored a hat trick in 38 minutes.” the fan said in disbelief.

He continued to shout Haaland’s stats in shock as his partner was heard laughing in the background whilst taking a jibe at United.

The United fan in the video is not the only person that has been stunned by the sheer goal scoring ability that the Norway super star possesses. With nine goals in five games, he is only three behind the total of 12 league goals that Chelsea forward Kai Havertz has scored since he came to English football back in 2020.

On his Premier League debut against West Ham, Haaland caused all sorts of trouble for the Hammers as he bagged himself a brace.

He drew blank against Bournemouth but did provide an assist during the 4-0 win.

The 22-year-old then scored his first hat trick in English football against Crystal Palace, before backing it up with another hat trick on Wednesday against Forest. He became only the seventh player in Premier league history to score back to back hat trick, and the first since Harry Kane back in December of 2017.

Haaland is widely regarded as one of the best strikers in world football. And he definitely has the numbers to back that up, he has managed to light up English football in such a short amount of time.

Pep Guardiola is yet to get his hands on the elusive Champions League trophy as City boss and he will hope that Haaland is the final puzzle piece that will propel the team to European glory.

City are clear favourites to win all four major trophies this season as their squad is packed with world class talents all over the pitch.

After the game against Forest, Guardiola praised his attacking options.

He told reporters: “We have two strikers with incredible quality.

“They are both incredible finishers and in games like today that is so important. Against teams that will defend deep, having the two guys there who have that incredible smell to score goals will help.”

Haaland will look to continue his fine form this weekend as City take on Aston Villa at Villa Park on Saturday evening.
