Harry Kane won the 2026 men's Ballon d'Or award by just 28 points ahead of Kylian Mbappe.
Bayern Munich and England striker Kane lifted the trophy for the first time in his career in the London Palladium on Monday evening.
France Football's editor-in-chief revealed that the gap between Kane and second-placed Kylian Mbappe was 'very little', and lower than the 41-point advantage that winner Rodri held over Vinicius Junior in 2024.
The official number of votes for the top 10 of the men's and women's award have now been revealed by L'Equipe.

Each of the 150 journalists - 100 for the men's award, 50 for the women's award - on the France Football voting panel had to pick their top 10 players out of a list of 30 nominees respectively for each award.
The 10 players were awarded 15, 12, 10, 8, 7, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 points respectively, meaning the maximum that a player could have achieved is 1,500 points. Players were nominated for their performances during the 2025/26 season only - so Rodri, who now plays for Barcelona, was picked based on his Manchester City displays, as well as his World Cup success with Spain.
