Luton Town planning three ambitious transfers after Premier League promotion, including Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

The newly-promoted side are said to be considering a move for the pair.

Luton Town will no doubt be active in this summer's transfer window – and rumours are already swirling around potential additions.

Rob Edwards' side, who secured their place in England's top flight on Saturday after a dramatic penalty shoot-out win over Coventry, are currently finalising summer recruitment plans, according to reports.

And somebody who is part of those so-called plans has just suffered the heartache of Premier League relegation with Leicester City.

The Express report Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is "part of Luton's thinking" as they build for next season.

The 24-year-old, who has made 34 appearances for the Foxes this season, will assess his options before rushing into any decision over his future.

Dewsbury-Hall is, however, said to be 'targeting an immediate return to the top-flight' – although his price tag could be an issue for Luton.

One thing is for certain; the midfielder has a strong connection with the Hatters. He became a fan-favourite at Kenilworth Road when he impressed on a season-long loan during the 2020/21 campaign.

Speaking to SPORTbible last year, Dewsbury-Hall opened up about his time at Luton when looking back at the importance of his previous loan spells.

"I don't think I would be doing what I am today if it wasn't for those loan spells," he said. "I learned so much. And if you don't learn, then you are doing something wrong.

"You have got to be a sponge in those types of situations; take everything in because it's only going to help you when you eventually go back to your parent club. You can add all those little things you have learned and evolve as a player."

Luton are also interested in making Marvelous Nakamba's loan spell from Aston Villa permanent.

The 29-year-old midfielder, who was described as a "Duracell battery" by Rob Edwards earlier this season, played a crucial role in Town's promotion. In fact, he made more tackles than any other player in the Championship during the 2022/23 campaign.

Finally, the play-off winners will make "every effort" to make a deal for Cody Drameh permanent, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

Drameh, who joined Luton in January from recently-relegated Leeds United, also played an important role in their promotion push, making 19 league appearances.
