Trent Alexander-Arnold received two gifts from Real Madrid after signing his contract with the club.

Alexander-Arnold was officially unveiled as a Real player on Thursday following his move from Liverpool.

Alexander-Arnold, who has already made an impression in training, joins Real just days before they start their Club World Cup campaign, which the star player is targeting ahead of making his debut for his new club.

"I am no stranger to seeing Real Madrid win trophies. It's an amazing history the club has got, and I'm joining an exciting team with a lot of potential," he said. "I am excited to get started, straight to the USA, and we want to win the Club World Cup. I am looking to have a great start."

Ahead of making his first appearance for Real, Alexander-Arnold has received not one but two gifts from the Spanish giants.

After signing his deal, he was presented with a replica of the stadium and a watch.

Real confirmed the gifts to their summer signing in a statement published online.

"Trent Alexander-Arnold is officially a Real Madrid player," it read. "The club's president, Florentino Pérez, welcomed him to the boardroom at Real Madrid City, where the Englishman signed a contract that will keep him at the club for the next six seasons.

"After signing, Alexander-Arnold received a replica of the stadium, a watch and a shirt with his name and the number 12 on the back."

Alexander-Arnold's new team open their Club World Cup venture next Wednesday against Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal.

Los Blancos then face Mexican outfit Pachuca before meeting Austrian club RB Salzburg.
