Sporting director Deco is working overtime to find new clubs for four Barcelona players no longer wanted by head coach Hansi Flick.
Barcelona were beaten by Inter Milan in the semi-finals of the Champions League but enjoyed a successful first season under Flick domestically.
The Blaugrana won La Liga by four points ahead of rivals Real Madrid and beat Los Blancos in a very spiky Copa del Rey final to set them up for the double.

But standing still is rarely the smart move in football and Flick knows a thing or two about what it takes to follow one good season with another.
According to reports, the German has identified four players who are surplus requirements and has demanded they're moved on in order to make room for new signings.
Barcelona are understood to be close to finalising a deal to take Athletic Club winger Nico Williams away from Bilbao and have signed 24-year-old Espanyol goalkeeper Joan Garcia to compete with and eventually succeed Flick's compatriot and captain Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

With more new acquisitions on Flick's ideal shopping list, Deco has been charged with selling the unwanted quartet, though their departures will have little direct impact on his plans on the field.
Ansu Fati, Inaki Pena, Oriol Romeu, and Pablo Torre are the four players destined for the chop, according to Fichajes via Sempre Barca.
Spanish international Fati, now 22, was a feted graduate of La Masia but started just three La Liga matches in 2024-25. His wage demands could make it difficult to shift him and are also the reason Flick wants him sold to create some salary headroom for the Catalan titans, according to Sempre Barca.

Barcelona's plan for Pena was made clear by the signing of Garcia, who will become Ter Stegen's understudy. Pena managed 15 starts in the league last season but can expect his chances to be reduced to nothing in light of the club's summer recruitment.
Former Chelsea midfielder Oriol Romeu has barely featured for Barcelona since returning to the Nou Camp in 2023. The 33-year-old was loaned out to Girona last season and his days at his boyhood club are numbered.
The situation is more complicated for Pablo Torre, who featured at the Under-21 European Championship until Spain were knocked out by England on Saturday.
At 19, Torre has time on his side and enjoys the backing of Flick despite the reported suggestion that he isn't needed.

"It seems like he is going to leave for a loan this summer, with Villarreal being the most likely destination. Flick actually values the player for his potential, but believes he needs to leave in search of more game time," reports Sempre Barca.
