Barcelona Star Seen 'Consoling' Hansi Flick as Touchline Footage Emerges

One Barcelona star appeared to be seen consoling Hansi Flick following the team's match against Deportivo Alaves.

On Saturday evening, Barcelona had the chance to go top of the La Liga table ahead of Real Madrid's match against Girona on Sunday night.

In front of their supporters inside Camp Nou, Barcelona produced a spirited performance to beat Alaves.

An early goal by Lamine Yamal, plus a brace from Dani Olmo, sealed a 3-1 victory. Pablo Ibanez had originally given Alaves the lead inside the first minute.

As a result, Barcelona currently lead Madrid by two points at the summit of the La Liga table.

After the match, a video was posted on social media which appeared to show Barcelona star Raphinha speaking to Flick on the bench.

In the video, Flick looked rather emotional as Raphinha was seen speaking to his manager, who was also filmed shaking his head.

Reacting on social media, one fan said: "Raphinha seems to be comforting a teary-eyed Hansi Flick."

Another tweeted: "That Hansi Flick video reeled me back in. Till death, I will by your side."

A third fan said: "It’s time to fully back Hansi Flick! He restored our excitement after years of decline, and if he goes, it would be a huge mistake. Given the team’s state, the club’s situation, it’s understandable he's worn out."

Someone else wrote: "Raphinha comforting Hansi Flick after their match today. What is going on behind the scenes?"

Speaking after the match, Flick said: "In the first half, we had many scoring opportunities, and in the second as well. I'm pleased with the three points, but we still have a lot of progress to make."

Meanwhile, Raphinha added: "A perfect afternoon with a victory and on the club's anniversary. They surprised us in the first minute, but we were able to control the match. Playing here is something special."

Next week, Barcelona are back in La Liga action against Atletico Madrid, taking place at the Camp Nou on Tuesday night.
