He made 58 appearances in all competitions for Liverpool.

A compilation of Jordon Ibe's best moments in a Liverpool shirt has been doing the rounds on social media, and it shows how much natural ability he had throughout his teenage years.

At 16, the highly-rated prospect joined Liverpool from Wycombe Wanderers, just months after becoming the youngest goalscorer in the Football League club's history.

After impressing in the academy set-up, he would go on to make 58 appearances in all competitions for the Reds, showing glimpses of brilliance along the way. I mean, just check out these highlights and see for yourself.

But after a four year spell at Anfield, which included loan spells at Birmingham and Derby, the talented winger would join Bournemouth for a then-club record fee of £15 million.

From that moment on, Ibe struggled to become a first-team regular under Eddie Howe. He spent four years at Dean Court before joining Championship side Derby on a permanent deal in the summer of 2020.

He would go on to make just one appearance during the 2020/21 campaign, coming on for the final three minutes in a goalless draw with Stoke, and would never play for the club again.

In the past, Ibe has been vocal about his mental health. In a statement on Instagram back in 2021, the former Wycombe and Liverpool winger addressed his struggles to the world.

"I've found myself in a dark place due to suffering from depression," he wrote. "It's no scheme for the media or to have my name in your mouths, I just find things hard, truly."

In an interview with SPORTbible in November, Ibe recalled writing the message on social media.

"It was the darkest time of my life," he said. "It was a cry for help, to be honest. I felt like I needed to speak out because if not, I don't know what else could have happened. It's a good thing that I did."

Ibe told us last year that he's in a "much better place" after a four year battle with depression. "I'm not just saying it to make people think he's doing well after such a long time off," he added.

"I'm genuinely feeling much better within myself. Happier, for sure."

The 26-year-old joined Turkish second-tier side Adanaspor on a three-and-a-half year deal in the January transfer window.
