Jamie O'Hara thinks Premier League leaders Arsenal will "bottle" the league between 29th April and 6th May.

Mikel Arteta's side are currently five points clear of Manchester City with 27 games played but they have some tough fixtures in the coming weeks, including away games against Liverpool, City and Newcastle.

The Gunners are certainly in confident spirits following five successive Premier League wins, including last weekend's convincing 3-0 win over Fulham, and many believe they will lift a first league title since 2004.

But former Spurs midfielder and talkSPORT pundit Jamie O'Hara isn't convinced. In fact, he has gone on record saying Arsenal will crumble when they face Chelsea at home and Newcastle at St James' Park on May 6.

Speaking on talkSPORT about the title race, the former Spurs midfielder said: "I think Man City will still win. We've had a tweet come in and this is exactly what I think, 'City stay in touch with Arsenal until the last five games of the season, the Gunners will bottle it' and I think the same thing.

"You stay in touching distance with Arsenal, five points, three points, they've got to play each other. Man City need to beat Arsenal, that's in six games' time. After that you've got five games left.

"If Man City beat Arsenal, they're in touching distance with five games to go, who's going to have the experience, who's going to have the bottle? Man City have been there all before."

He added: “There’s a lot of football to play. They’ve still got to play Man City, and after they play Man City, they’ve got to play Chelsea, who have pulled it together, then they’ve got to play Newcastle away.

“Alright, three huge games, where in my opinion, Arsenal will bottle the title. That week there, 29th April to 6th May, that is when Arsenal are going to lose the league."

O’Hara then admitted when he’ll finally accept that the Gunners are going to win the Premier League title: “Not yet, 6th of May I’ll do it then.”

Here's how fans reacted to O'Hara's comments about Arsenal's chances in the title race.

One said: "Arsenal can pull eight points clear this month and put serious pressure on City's game against Liverpool. They have to be able to drop points at the start of may and still win the title, because three wins feels unlikely in those games."

A second wrote: "City will do them but they will get over Chelsea and draw Newcastle. It will come down to what them and City can get from Liverpool."

A third commented: "See this idea of bottling the league with 12 games left and 5 points ahead is hilarious. Only got to lose one game and draw one and the lead is gone. So I wouldn’t call it bottling at all. We’ve got tough fixtures."

A fourth added: "Ex Spurs player will know a lot about bottling, see you in May."
