Jamal Musiala walks through the Wolfsburg team to score sensational, Messi-esque solo goal

Take a bow, Jamal Musiala.

Jamal Musiala produced a moment of magic as he scored a sensational, Lionel Messi-esque goal against Wolfsburg.

Bayern Munich ran out 4-2 winners at Wolfsburg on Sunday to climb above Union Berlin at the top of the Bundesliga.

Kingsley Coman opened the scoring in the ninth minute and added a second five minutes later - courtesy of a brilliant cross by Joao Cancelo, who recorded his second assist in as many games since his loan switch from Manchester City.

Thomas Muller made it 3-0 in the 19th minute, with Musiala scoring his side's fourth goal in stunning fashion.

From the right wing, the German international skipped past two Wolfsburg players before driving at the defence.

The 19-year-old slalomed through defenders before advancing into the box and slotting a low finish into the bottom corner.

Musiala's audacious goal for Bayern sent social media wild, with some fans comparing his brilliance to Diego Maradona and Lionel Messi.

One Twitter user wrote: "Jamal Musiala is the closest thing we’ll gonna witness to Lionel Messi. This goal is absurdity."

A second tweeted: "Maradona like goal, future Ballon d’Or."

A third exclaimed: "JAMAL MUSIALA IS WORLD CLASS."

A fourth added: "Jamal Musiala with a Messi-esque goal, just phenomenal man."

Another said: "I am witnessing a potential great fold before my eyes. Jamal Musiala you are fantastic."

Musiala is enjoying the best season of his budding career, having scored an impressive 14 goals in all competitions.

He has scored 10 league goals this campaign - no Bayern player has more.

The former Chelsea youth star also has nine assists to his name as he continues to enhance his stellar reputation.
