Jamal Musiala has broken his silence after collapsing for the second time in three days while playing for Bayern Munich.
Musiala, who represented Germany at the World Cup, had to be substituted in a friendly against RB Leipzig after a collapse.
Teammate Ismael Saibari had to stop Musiala from falling, with Joshua Kimmich also quickly attending to him.
Medics were then on the scene and Musiala was helped away from the pitch. He returned to training but another scary episode happened on Tuesday in a 4-2 win over FC Heidenheim.

Mere minutes after coming on, Musiala fell to the turf and both sets of players formed a shield around him. He then walked off the pitch with one of the club's doctors.
Speaking after the game, Bayern chief Max Eberl addressed the media and said that Musiala "will speak about this in the near future" as he said the club "are aware of the situation".
Musiala swiftly followed up with a statement confirming he has been diagnosed with "brief, temporary episodes of absence" but ensured fans that he is fine and will continue his professional career.
The attacking midfielder said that these episodes are "easily treatable" and "caused by a neurological dysfunction".

Writing on Instagram, he said: "First things first - I’m doing well! Above all, I’m incredibly grateful for all your messages and your support! I understand that many of you are worried. I want to put those concerns to rest today and explain a little more: I have been diagnosed with brief, temporary episodes of absence that are easily treatable and are caused by a neurological dysfunction. These can lead to the moments that have occurred recently, such as against Leipzig and now in Heidenheim. I know that they may seem scary at first glance - but for me, they are currently simply part of my everyday life. I am receiving the best possible medical care in this regard, and I am very optimistic. FC Bayern and the people closest to me are always by my side and supporting me on this journey
"What is important is that there is no additional health risk beyond this. In close consultation and regular communication with the specialists, it was my personal wish to face this challenge and, with the approval of the neurological specialists, to continue doing what helps me most in my recovery: simply living my everyday life and continuing to pursue my passion of playing football. I have taken responsibility for that decision.
"Overall, I have a very good feeling and I am on a good path. What helps me most along the way is continuing to chase victories and titles with my team, with your incredible support. I hope this helps you understand me better. At the same time, I ask for your understanding that I would like to continue keeping this matter within the circle of my closest confidants, the club and the experts. Thank you very much."
Musiala's post was met with a flurry of supportive comments from his teammates, including Manuel Neuer, Luis Diaz, Jonathan Tah and Konrad Laimer.
Eligible to play for England after growing up on these shores, Musiala spent time in the academies at Southampton and Chelsea before joining Bayern.
The 23-year-old has gone on to make 231 appearances, scoring 69 goals and winning six Bundesliga titles.
He missed a large chunk of the 2025/26 season after suffering a fractured fibula and dislocated and broken ankle during a Club World Cup game against Paris Saint-Germain back in July, only returning in April after surgery and recovery.
