Wrexham co-owner Ryan Reynolds has revealed exactly where he expects the Welsh club to be 10 years.

Since purchasing the club in November 2020, Reynolds and co-owner Rob McElhenney have helped lead Wrexham to an incredible back-to-back promotions up to League One.

This season, the Welsh side have continued to silence doubters as they chase yet another promotion, taking them to the Championship for the first time in nearly 50 years.

Although the size of this achievement would not be lost on Reynolds, he has now revealed that he expects the club to go even further within the next decade.

On Thursday evening, Wrexham welcome League One leaders Birmingham City to the Racecourse Ground for what could be the most important fixture of their season so far.

And ahead of the game, Reynolds spoke with Men in Blazers about the task ahead of them and where he sees the club going within the next decade.

"We would be morons to not want to see this club in the Premier League, but to also be unique in that everything around the place has stayed true to what it originally was. That's the perfect scenario," Reynolds admitted.

"But these things should change you, these events in life, we should be moved by them, and it should be unexpected and a wild ride.

"If it was all predictable and we knew what was going to happen, this would be miserable and you can't understand happiness and joy unless you understand what it feels like to fail.

"And thankfully this sport offers all of those emotions inside each and every f***ing minute of a match.

"So in ten years, I hope Wrexham is Wrexham and I hope that the change that has taken place is for the better and that people are proud of it and that change doesn't feel like it's too big, too soon."

As it stands, Wrexham are third in the League One table and three points away from Wycombe Wanderers who currently sit in second place, earning automatic promotion.

The Red Dragons are ten points clear of seventh placed Reading, meaning they stand a strong chance of making the play-offs even if they are to miss out on securing first or second place in the League One table.
