Wayne Rooney made an embarrassing blunder just seconds after he entered David Beckham's home.
Although the illustrious careers of the former Manchester United stars did not overlap at club level, they were teammates for England.
Rooney made history as the youngest player to represent England when he made his first appearance at just 17 years old in a friendly against Australia. They pair went on to share the pitch at both Euro 2004 and the 2006 World Cup, with England suffering quarter-final exits to Portugal on both occasions.
But Rooney revealed on the latest episode of The Wayne Rooney Show that the pair had also spent time together away from the pitch.

He explained that he, Frank Lampard, and a couple of other England teammates were invited to Beckham's house for dinner. But it was a disastrous start to the evening for Rooney, who was still just a teenager at the time.

He said: "He's showing us around his house, I open the door and I bumped his eldest boy, Brooklyn's, head.
"He started crying and I'm there thinking, 'Oh Jesus Christ'."

Rooney then took charge at his former club DC United, where he again struggled.

But Birmingham continued to decline and were relegated.
