One of the VAR decision in Germany vs. Scotland was shown and explained on the big screen inside the Allianz Arena and fans want it introduced in the Premier League.

Germany kicked off their Euro 2024 venture with a resounding 5-1 victory over Scotland on Friday.

Florian Wirtz, Jamal Musiala, Kai Havertz, Niclas Fullkrug and Emre Can all got on the score-sheet as the tournament hosts made a rampant start to their campaign.

Scotland were no match for Julian Nagelsmann's side and their chances of getting something out of the Group A clash decreased when they were reduced to 10 men.

Ryan Porteous was shown a straight red card for a shocking tackle on Ilkay Gundogan just before the break following a swift VAR review.

Match referee Clement Turpin also reviewed a decision through VAR when he pointed to the spot following Ryan Christie's challenge on Musiala.

But after reviewing the incident, he overturned his decision and cancelled the penalty to award a free-kick.

And the VAR decision was shown and explained to fans inside the stadium.

"Penalty cancelled. Foul was committed by Scotland's player No.11 outside the penalty area," read the message on the big screen.

One X user wrote: "This is a good development... But am sure English Premier League will not see this..."

A second tweeted: "This is a good development."

A third added: "Nah, this is rare UEFA win."

A fourth said: "Need this in the PL next season instead of just 'Decision: no penalty'."

Another commented: "Premier League will never do this, because this is too good."
