Spurs have identified their primary replacement for Thomas Frank after his side suffered another dismal home defeat at the hands of West Ham.
Spurs were beaten 2-1 at home to the Hammers, who claimed a huge victory courtesy of Callum Wilson's last-gasp winner.
The loss to a side in a relegation battle was the ninth time Spurs have been beaten in the Premier League this season - with Frank winning just two home games out of 11.
The latest calamity leaves Spurs 14th in the table after 22 matches and Frank under even more pressure despite only taking the job in 2025.

Speculation regarding Frank's uncertain future is mounting but Football Insider say that a decision has already been made by the club.
According to a report from Wayne Veysey, the chants of "sacked in the morning" will lead to Spurs relieving Frank of his duties after his position became "untenable" following a horrific period of just three wins in 15 games in all competitions.

Spurs have already been working on a replacement for Frank once he gets the boot and are considering all possibilities in terms of interim and permanent appointments.

In the summer, three of the Premier League's most highly-rated managers could all be available - with Andoni Iraola, Marco Silva and Oliver Glasner all out of contract.
Former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino's name has also been mentioned, with the Argentine said to be interested in a return but only after he takes charge of the United States at the World Cup where they are among the three co-hosts.
