There is fury amongst Manchester United fans after they learned about the fee they are looking to receive for one of their most promising academy players.
United have brought in both Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans as their most high-profile additions this summer following Casemiro's departure and Manuel Ugarte's long-term knee injury.
Further reinforcements are expected at Old Trafford but there is also a word on potential exits, with 19-year-old left-back Harry Amass set to move on.
United saw off competition from Chelsea to secure Amass' signature in 2023 and he went on to make his debut against Leicester in March 2025.

Amass has played just seven times in all competitions for United but raised his stock last season in the Championship.
He won back-to-back Player of the Month awards with struggling Sheffield Wednesday, playing 21 times on loan. That loan came to an end in January, paving the way for Amass to head to Norwich City in another temporary switch.
However, he only managed just one appearances for the Canaries, picking up an early injury which ruled out for the remainder of the campaign.
Amass has returned to United for pre-season and found the net in a 5-0 win over Rosenborg.

But according to The Athletic, he could leave during the transfer window - with a number of Championship clubs circling around and some even making approaches.
As per Laurie Whitwell, United would favour a permanent transfer over a loan and are said to be willing to offload him Amass for a fee of £6 million.
However, the news prompted fury on social media as many United fans felt the fee was far too low.
One user on X wrote: "We need to take lessons from Chelsea."
A second commented: "I’m not even as big of a fan of Amass as most are but 6M is a joke. Might as well keep him at that price. Loan him and let him build up his value."
A third added: "Harry Amass leaving Manchester United for £6m shows that we’re not ready for the league."
Man United transfer latest as likely exits named
Amass is not the only United player in the rumour mill. Misfiring striker Joshua Zirkzee has attracted interest from both Juventus and Ajax - who have both made enquiries about his situation.
As per the latest from The Athletic, two Premier League clubs have also expressed an interest in the Dutchman - who United may be willing to sell.
Zirkzee joined from Bologna in 2024 but has failed to show he is up to the task of playing for United and found himself out of favour last season.
United are also looking to part company with goalkeepers Altay Bayandir and Radek Vitek, who has already spoken about wanting regular first-team football.
The Red Devils have brought in Karl Darlow on a free from Leeds to be Senne Lammens' understudy and also snapped up 20-year-old shotstopper Kit Margetson after agreeing a compensation package with Swansea.
He had been with the club since Under 15's but announced his departure earlier this month.
Kit Margetson becomes United's fifth summer signing and the club confirmed his arrival in an official statement on the club's website.
The statement said: "Manchester United have agreed the signing of exciting young goalkeeper Kit Margetson, subject to registration. The 20-year-old was most recently at Swansea City, a club he'd been with since under-15s.
"Last season, he had his first taste of senior football on loan at Connah's Quay Nomads and kept 10 clean sheets in 34 appearances, helping the Welsh side to qualify for European competition. Margetson has also earned youth international caps for Wales and made his Under-21s debut against Belarus in March. Everyone at United would like to welcome Kit to the club and wish him the very best of luck for the future."
