Spurs captain Cristian Romero appeared to call out the club's board following a last-gasp 3-2 defeat to Bournemouth on Wednesday night.
Spurs went 1-0 up early on at the Vitality Stadium through Mathys Tel, before Evanilson equalised for the hosts.
Eli Junior Kroupi put the Cherries ahead before Joao Paulinha levelled in the 78th minute.
But five minutes into stoppage time, Antoine Semenyo signed off from Bournemouth in what is expected to be his final game with a stunning winner from range.

The result, an eighth defeat in the Premier League, piled more pressure on Thomas Frank - whose side are 14th in the table after the 21 games.
Frank caused a stir by bizarrely drinking from an Arsenal cup, which had been left at Bournemouth's ground from the previous game. The Dane addressed it post-match and claimed that he "definitely did not notice it".

He skipper also felt the need to speak out in explosion fashion on social media.
The Argentine took to Instagram after the game to issue an apology to the fans, but he also aimed a subtle dig at those high up in the club.
In a screenshot shared by Fabrizio Romano, Romero said "they only show up when things are going well to tell a few lies".
However, the "lies" detail was later edited on the post by Romero in his rallying cry.
"Apologies to all fans of you who follow us everywhere, who are always there and will continue to be," the former Atalanta defender wrote.
"We are responsible, there’s no doubt about that. I am the first. But we will keep facing up to it and trying to turn the situation around, for ourselves and for the club.
"At times like this, it should be other people coming out to speak, but they don’t — as has been happening for several years now. They only show up when things are going well.
"We’ll stay here, working, sticking together and giving our all to turn things around. Especially at times like this, keeping quiet, working harder and moving forward all together ,is part of football.
"All together, it will be easier @spursofficial."

Richarlison commented with an applauding emoji, while another teammate Pedro Porro added: "Amen. Keep going brother. We have a lot of battles left."
Romero's defensive partner Micky van de Ven was also full of emotion after the game and clashed with his own fans in the away end, with Spurs staff restraining him as he remonstrated.
Porro found himself in a similar situation as frustrations kicked on over Spurs' recent run.
Reflecting on the defeat, Frank said: "I think hopefully everyone can see how hard we worked to get everything in the right direction. And I think overall the performance was good, especially in the second half, in a game where we deserved to get more.
"That is extremely painful to be part of, so of course people are frustrated, I'm frustrated, so that's natural."
