Real Madrid wonderkid Endrick has teased news that will “shake the world of football” in a cryptic Instagram post.

The 17-year-old is currently with the Brazil squad, preparing for their opening game of the Copa America against Costa Rica.

By the time the tournament comes to a close in mid-July, Endrick will turn 18, and finally be able to complete his move from Palmeiras to Real Madrid.

Amid a summer of change for the teenager, he has taken to Instagram to declare that big news is on the horizon and that he will make an appearance on ESPN Brazil on June 20 to reveal exactly what it is.

Alongside a picture of him holding a blue No.26 shirt, Endrick said: "I don't know if y'all ready for this. On June 20th I will be on ESPN to tell a news that will shake the world of sports."

Irrespective of what the news may be, the forward’s focus will be on the Copa America in the United States.

"God made many of my dreams come true very early on, and I'm very grateful," he told ESPN Brazil. "There's a huge burden on my back, but he wouldn't give it to someone who couldn't manage or bear it.

"I'm very happy to be in the national team and here in Orlando [Florida, at the team's training base]. I'm going to keep training, working to win this Copa América and lead the team to success."

He added that the team were on course to succeed at the continental tournament, which they last won in 2019.

Endrick continued: "We're on the right track. We've only had four games [under new head coach Dorival] and now we're training well, we've got time to train. What we want is to do our best for the national team and for Brazil.

"Let's keep going and hopefully we'll have the support of all the Brazilians to conquer America."
