Endrick has 'two strict conditions' to leave Real Madrid as second Premier League club rival Man Utd

Real Madrid forward Endrick will reportedly only leave the club this summer if two key conditions are met - with a second Premier League club joining Manchester United in the race to sign him.

The Brazil forward moved to the Bernabeu upon turning 18 in July 2024, but the last two years haven't quite gone to plan.

He made 37 appearances in all competitions during his debut season under Carlo Ancelotti, but only played three times under his successor Xabi Alonso last season.

Endrick was then loaned out to Ligue 1 side Lyon, where he scored a hat-trick on his league debut in a 5-2 win over Metz.

His form at Lyon - eight goals in 21 games in all competitions - earned him a place in Brazil manager Ancelotti's World Cup squad.

Now back at Real Madrid, he is said to have been told by the club's latest new manager, Jose Mourinho, that he is third choice in the striker pecking order behind Kylian Mbappe and new arrival Carlos Espi.

He has 'seriously considered another loan move' this season, according to Spanish outlet AS, with reports on Saturday indicating that Manchester United have been offered the opportunity to sign him on a temporary basis ahead of their return to playing in the Champions League.

It is said that Real want to keep Endrick for the long-term, having agreed a six-year contract with the forward when he arrived in Spain in 2024, and would even be open to paying a portion of his salary as part of any loan agreement.

Aston Villa are claimed to be the second Premier League club to have expressed interest in signing the Brazilian.

Their manager Unai Emery has had a history of taking on out-of-favour players from top clubs on loan, such as Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, and now, for this season, Alejandro Garnacho.

Endrick sets 'two strict conditions' ahead of expected Real exit

Villa - and United - would also automatically one of the two strict criteria that Endrick is said to have put in place for him to leave the Bernabeu on loan.

Endrick wants to play for a club who is competing in European football - with Villa having qualified for this season's Champions League by winning the Europa League, while also finishing in fourth in the Premier League.

He also wants to be 'guaranteed' a starting spot as a striker, the position he played in at Lyon, rather than out wide.

Another factor that might persuade the 20-year-old to move to the Premier League specifically is that he has been learning English, from Real team-mates Jude Bellingham, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Antonio Rudiger.

He told Men in Blazers in June: "I learn with Jude, with Trent, with Rudi [Antonio Rudiger] also.

"Now I can understand more from Jude and Trent, and chat to both. I like Jude and Trent so much. Jude is a good guy, he talks to me every day in Madrid.

"When he sees me and I'm not so good, he says, 'Come here', and talks to me every day, and Trent also. So now, when I go back, I can speak with both."
