Since then, he has had loan spells with Leeds United, Scunthorpe United, Tranmere Rovers and Oldham Athletic.

At the start of the 19/20 season, Borthwick-Jackson left United to join Oldham on a permanent deal.

Now 26 years old, Borthwick-Jackson left Oldham for Burton Albion before moving to Polish side Slask Wroclaw in July.
