The first shot on target led to the only goal of Charlton Athletic's League One play-off semi-final second leg win over Wycombe Wanderers, igniting late drama at the end of a tense but uneventful tie.
Charlton took the lead when Matty Godden followed up that shot to poach the only goal of the semi-final.
The Valley was elated and Charlton dominated the last few minutes on the way to securing a final appearance against Leyton Orient with a place in the Championship on the line.

Former Luton Town, Stoke City and Southampton manager Nathan Jones is the man tasked with leading the Addicks back out of the third tier.
After 90+ minutes of performative passion on the touchline he couldn't resist the limelight in the dying seconds of the second leg win over Wycombe and Sky Sports viewers legged it to X, formerly Twitter, to have their say.
Pausing briefly to have a glance at the nearby camera, Jones dropped to his knees, covered his eyes, brought his hands together in a praying gesture and turned his palms to the heavens.

By the time the final whistle was blown, Jones was bent double in front of the dugout and cry-laughing into his hands in an extraordinary display of feeling it.
Naturally, fans on social media thought it was bizarre.
"This makes Jason Tindall look like N’Golo Kante," joked one user. "My word."
"If I was a player and saw my manager doing that, I wouldn’t look at them the same," revealed another.

One fan issued a stinging review: "Embarrassment. The village idiot at best."
"Proper embarrassing, how to make it all about yourself. Cheeky little look to see if the camera was pointed at him," noted another.
"He will find this an extremely difficult watch in the morning," predicted one poster, generously.

"It’s the quick look up to see if the camera’s still there before 'praying' again that does it for me," said another fan.
Charlton will play in the League One play-off final at Wembley against Leyton Orient, who maintained their hopes of joining Birmingham City and Wrexham in the Championship by beating Stockport County on penalties on Wednesday.
