Viktor Gyokeres decided against signing for Manchester United after seeing Ruben Amorim's brutal treatment of a player at Old Trafford.
Gyokeres has dominated the summer transfer window, with his name dominating the rumour mill.
His stock grew after scoring an impressive 54 goals in 52 games for Sporting CP last season, having bagged 43 goals in his debut campaign in Portugal's top flight.
Arsenal are thought to be leading the race to sign Gyokeres ahead of Man United and Juventus, with fans thinking the Gunners dropped a hint in their kit launch shoot.

The Red Devils were interested in signing the 27-year-old as they look to recruit a new No.9 ahead of the 2025/26 season.
But it appears Ruben Amorim has failed in his pursuit of Gyokeres, having coached him at Sporting before his Man United appointment.
According to Portuguese outlet Record, Gyokeres was upset with the manner in which Amorim discarded his Swedish compatriot Victor Lindelof.

Gyokeres and Lindelof share the same agent in Turkish businessman Hasan Cetinkaya, with the defender said to be keen on extending his stay at Man United had he been offered a new deal by the club.
Cetinkaya was also allegedly angered by Amorim's treatment of Lindelof given that he persuaded the star forward to work under the 40-year-old gaffer at Sporting.
He chose to join Sporting from Coventry City in the summer of 2023 despite offers from several Premier League clubs.
The Portuguese side signed Gyokeres from Coventry for around £20 million following his prolific spell in the Championship, where he scored 38 league goals across two seasons.

Lindelof, meanwhile, joined Man United from Benfica for £31 million in the summer of 2017.
He made 284 appearances across all competitions. He played 25 games last season, which was the least amount of game-time since his move to the club.
Lindelof was let go by Man United this summer following the expiration of his contract.
