Arsenal fans think they spotted a subtle hint towards Viktor Gyokeres during a video related to their away kit launch.
On Monday (July 21), the Gunners released promotional material surrounding the launch of their 2025/26 away kit.
A video used during the campaign features Arsenal stars including Declan Rice, Alessia Russo, Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka and Leah Williamson, set against cityscapes including New York, Paris and Singapore.
And several fans will have, no doubt, already purchased the kit, which draws inspiration from the Royal Arsenal Gatehouse lightning bolt.

However, most supporters’ main focus is currently on the ongoing saga regarding Gyokeres, 27.
The Sporting CP forward has been heavily linked with a move to the Gunners all summer, with The Athletic reporting last week that a deal in principle is supposedly in place, thought to be worth £54.8m plus £8.6m in potential add-ons. The striker’s agent has even waived his fee to help get the deal over the line.

The report suggested that Sporting president Frederico Varandas had held up the potential move as he refused to accept what Gyokeres believes was an agreement to leave this summer for €60m (£52m) plus €10m (£8.6m) of add-ons.

But still, no official announcement has been made with reports from Sweden even suggesting that the player’s father was upset by the current situation as he supposedly believes the deal will no longer he successful.
It has since emerged that Gyokeres’ representatives have issued a legal letter according to the Portugal outlet Record.
In the document, the striker reportedly blames Varandas for not honouring the supposed gentleman's agreement for his refusal to report for pre-season.
Earlier today, Arsenal head coach Arteta was asked about the prospect of signings such as Gyokeres.

Arteta said: "I cannot comment on any player who is not part of our group yet. When we have something concrete to offer in any case to any player, we will do that.”
But some Arsenal fans spotted what they believe was a subtle nod towards Gyokeres’ arrival during the promotional campaign for the new away kit.
One fan account posted what appears to be a screenshot of defender Riccardo Calafiori pulling the shirt above his nose, only showing the upper part of his head, similarly to Gyokeres’ goal celebration.
And fans were quick to have their say.

One said: “Alright, they just want to injure us with suspense. Gyokeres is already a Gooner, guys. Let’s move on to the next target, Eze.”
Another added: “I said it yesterday that Gyokeres deal is signed.”
While a third claimed: “No, he's literally just hiding the kit… Arsenal fans, you’re that desperate.”
