Andy Kellett signed for Manchester United 10 years ago in a bizarre transfer. What happened to him?
Ahead of the 2014/15 season, then-Man United manager Louis van Gaal splashed the cash to sign the likes of Angel Di Maria, Luke Shaw, Ander Herrera and Radamel Falcao.
They were all high-profile deals, with some of the transfers commanding huge amounts of money as Di Maria set the club back £59.7 million.

During the winter market of the 2014/15 campaign, Man United explored the loan market and pulled off a strange deal that caused total bafflement as soon as the move was announced.
Kellett joined Man United from Bolton Wanderers on loan until the end of the season.
Who exactly was Kellett and why was a world-famous football club snapping him up?
He seemed destined to join Plymouth Argyle until at the eleventh hour, where he was told about Man United's interest.

"The deal at Plymouth had all been agreed," he said. "So I went to the training ground on Deadline Day, quite late on actually. I went in and the manager said there's an option for you to go to Man United on loan if you want.
"So that's how it came about. I was going down to the training ground to sign for Plymouth and I ended up coming away signing for Man Utd! At first I was quite shocked by it.
"But then further on in the night I got quite emotional because it was quite a big thing. I can't really remember my initial reaction, I just think I was in a bit of shock really."

Kellett, unsurprisingly, never played a game for Van Gaal at Man United, with the player turning out for their under-21 side.
After 10 appearances in the youth team, he returned to Bolton in the summer.
The midfielder, who played at the back for the Red Devils, was on the move at the end of the 2014/15 campaign, signing for Wigan Athletic, where he spent time on loan at Chesterfield.
Kellett, now 31, then signed for Notts County before joining Fylde, Alfreton Town and Guiseley.

The latest move of his career saw him pen a deal at Bury in 2023.
He now plies his trade away from football. First, as a roofer, then as a technical delivery advisor at BT Enterprise.
