Ruben Amorim has had his say on the viral Manchester United fan who will only cut his hair when his side win five games in a row.
In October 2024, United supporter Frank Illet, originally from Oxford but living in Spain, embarked on a challenge that has taken a life of its own when he pledged to continue growing his hair until United won five games consecutively.
When his viral stunt began, United had just drawn 0-0 with Aston Villa and he decided to begin the challenge in order to "spread humour to Man United fans during a difficult period of time".
More than a year has passed, with Frank's hair continuining to grow as United failed to put together five victories on the trot.
Going by 'The United Strand', he regularly post updates on his social media channels - racking up more than 700,000 followers on Instagram and TikTok as he counts down.
United players have become aware, with new goalkeeper Senne Lemmens weighing in.

"I'm hopeful that maybe by the end of the year, maybe I'll get a haircut," he told BBC Radio Manchester.
"The perfect ending would be one of the players to cut it at Old Trafford."
