Manchester United goalkeeper Senne Lammens has offered his opinion on the viral Red Devils supporter who has vowed not to cut his hair until the side wins five successive matches.
Since Lammens arrived from Royal Antwerp on transfer deadline day in September, the 23-year-old has impressed the Old Trafford faithful and has even drawn comparisons with United icon Peter Schmeichel.
The 20-time Premier League champions have won all three of the matches in which Lammens has started between the sticks, securing all three points against Sunderland, Liverpool, and most recently Brighton, ahead of Saturday’s trip to the City Ground, where they will face Sean Dyche’s Nottingham Forest.
And the upturn in form has lifted some of the pressure on both the squad and head coach Ruben Amorim.

But for one fan, a win at Forest and in the subsequent match against Spurs on November 8 would mean that after over a year, he can finally get his haircut.
Frank Ilett, from Oxford but now living in Spain, began growing his hair in October of 2024 to cheer up his fellow United supporters while the side were struggling.
At the time, he pledged not to get his hair cut until the Red Devils won five consecutive matches.

Little did he know that Amorim’s side would go over a year without winning five games in a row, meaning he would be forced to maintain his afro-style hair.
Speaking to BBC Radio Manchester in March, Ilett revealed that he wanted to finally get his haircut at Old Trafford once the side had put together a run of five wins.
"The perfect ending would be one of the players to cut it at Old Trafford,” Ilett said.
And United’s keeper Lammens has since spoken about Ilett’s challenge, claiming that he hopes the side can win their next two matches so he can finally shave his hair, when he spoke to Sporza.

During the same interview, the 23-year-old revealed that his opposing ‘keeper in Saturday’s game, Mats Selz of Nottingham Forest, was one of the players whom he has learnt the most from during international camps with Belgium, as well as Real Madrid’s Thibaut Courtois.
“And [I have learnt from] Matz Sels, who has also been playing in the Premier League for a long time,” Lammens said. "They've already told me a lot of things that have helped me.
"Although I also think you have to experience it yourself. I try to focus on my own things and try not to listen too much to other people."
