Manchester United are reportedly interested in making a double swoop for Elliot Anderson and one of his Nottingham Forest teammates as they look to strengthen in the summer window.
After the experienced Casemiro announced he would be leaving at the end of the season, United have been linked with a host of potential replacements, including Anderson.
The 23-year-old, who was described as "one of the best midfielders in the Premier League" by Thomas Tuchel last year, has won possession more times than any other midfielder in England's top flight this season.
His traits are exactly what United need going forward, although it appears they will have to compete for his signature, with several clubs having been credited with an interest, including Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City.

The Reds have a 'strong interest' in Anderson, according to a new report from The Mail.

As well as Anderson, United are monitoring his teammate Morgan Gibbs-White as Nottingham Forest continue to hover above the Premier League relegation zone with 11 games of the season remaining.
United are looking to benefit if Forest are relegated, according to the above report.
Last summer, Forest wanted close to £100 million for Gibbs-White but that figure could drop dramatically if they drop down to the Championship.
Morgan Gibbs-White has already spoken about his "love" for Man Utd
United target Gibbs-White has admitted he grew up supporting Manchester United and idolised club legends Wayne Rooney and Paul Scholes.

Speaking in an interview with the Premier League, he explained how his "love for football" came from watching United when he was younger.
"Growing up as a kid, I supported United so Rooney was always my favourite player," said Gibbs-White.
"He was the real key player in that squad, so calm and composed. He used to pick up pockets, run in behind, score goals. Another player when I was growing up that I loved watching was Paul Scholes.
"He could pick the ball up and just zing it everywhere. He was just so calm and composed on the ball. That's where my love for football came (from)."
Gibbs-White has also opened up on being "too nervous" to go up and speak to Wayne Rooney when he was the Derby manager.
"I was too nervous to go and say hello," he told The Mail. "I grew up idolising him so to see him in the flesh was a bit like, 'Woah'. As a kid I loved United and I always watched Rooney.
"I really enjoyed the sort of player he was: hard-working, gritty, didn't care who was in front of him, he was going through them."
