Alejandro Garnacho’s brother reveals detail which makes his performance vs Liverpool so impressive

Alejandro delivered a game-winning assist against Liverpool.

Alejandro Garnacho's brother has made a stunning revelation following the Manchester United star's performance against Liverpool.

Man United beat Liverpool 4-3 in an instant classic to book their spot in the FA Cup semi-finals.

Amad Diallo scored a dramatic last-minute winner before being sent off in crazy scenes at Old Trafford.

He robbed Harvey Elliott of the ball, which fell to the feet of Garnacho, who carried the ball to the other end.

Despite playing the full game, Garnacho made a gut-busting sprint before setting up Diallo, who made no mistake in front of goal.

After the match, Garnacho's brother, Roberto, revealed a detail about him which makes his showing on Sunday even more impressive.

According to Roberto, the 19-year-old winger only trained twice leading up to the Liverpool tie due to a hamstring injury.

The Argentine international played the whole game despite supposedly carrying a knock.

On X, Roberto wrote: "Garnacho has trained 2 days this week due to a hamstring injury, still ,he is there running 120 minutes and giving the winning assist, Im proud of you BIG BRO."

Garnacho has been brilliant for Man United this season, scoring seven goals in 38 appearances across all competitions.

He marked his latest outing with a match-winning assist, with Erik ten Hag referencing the youngster following the result.

Ten Hag said: "I said we have for a team for the future. We have players like Dalot, Kobbie, Garnacho developing well. I can mention more."

The Red Devils will play Championship side Coventry City in the next round for a spot in the final.

On facing Coventry, who stunned Wolves on Saturday, Ten Hag added: "We have to play our best. Very good team and mentality. We want to go to our final so we have to play at our best."
