Alejandro Garnacho’s brother demands apology as he defends the Man United youngster

Alejandro Garnacho’s brother demands apology as he defends the Man United youngster

Alejandro Garnacho signed a new contract with Manchester United last month

Alejandro Garnacho’s brother, Roberto, has leapt to the defence of the Manchester United star by demanding an apology.

The 18-year-old is one of the highest-rated youngsters within the Old Trafford club.

So far, Garnacho has made 32 appearances for United since breaking through to the first team in 2021, scoring five goals.

Last month, Garnacho committed his future to the Red Devils as he signed a new five-year deal with the club.

Over the weekend, the Argentine celebrated his new contract in fine fashion as he rounded off United’s 2-0 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers by scoring the second goal.

However, despite his obvious talent and progression, Garnacho has previously been criticised by many.

YouTuber Rants N Bants was very vocal about Garnacho earlier on in the season and even labelled the 18-year-old as “s***”.

Now, Garnacho’s younger brother, Roberto has hit back after the forward’s goal against Wolves.

He tweeted: “Apologise as much as you disrespected, b******. @rantsnbants.”

After Garnacho signed his deal, United boss Erik ten Hag urged the youngster to kick on.

The Dutchman said: “Garna, everyone can see it. He came in and did almost everything good, and scored a great goal that will give him belief. It’s good for us for the rest of the season, that he’s back, and can have an impact.

“One of the aspects of the biggest talent is that they are mature. First, they take responsibility then second, they are mature to bring in the skills and have belief that they can dominate opponents.”

Ten Hag added: “Once again, he did it. He has had a big impact in many games: whether starting or coming on, he’s straight into the game and that’s so important for the squad.

“I’m happy we can bring in young players and, hopefully, he will progress so quickly that he can compete for a starting XI position because that is his next challenge.”
