A new report has detailed how 'the majority' of Manchester United's dressing room have reacted to the departure of Ruben Amorim.
Shortly after being informed of his dismissal by chief executive Omar Berrada and director of football Jason Wilcox at the club's training ground on Monday morning, Amorim said his final farewell to players and staff.
It was a turbulent 14-month tenure, with Amorim leaving United having won 24 of his 63 matches in charge of the club - the third-lowest of any permanent manager in their history.
A number of players fell out with the Portuguese manager during his reign, including Alejandro Garnacho, who was axed in a public dressing down in front of the entire squad before joining Chelsea.

However, it has emerged that the majority of United players are unhappy with Amorim's sacking.

That's according to a report from The Sun, who claim Amorim was 'popular with the players and retained the backing of most of the squad members'.
Harry Maguire was the first player to speak out following Amorim's departure, with the defender posting a picture of himself with the 40-year-old. "Thank you for everthing boss," he wrote. "I wish you all the best in the future."
United captain Bruno Fernandes also expressed his gratitude, saying: "Thank you Mister! I wish the best for you and your technical staff."
Benjamin Sesko, Amad, Mason Mount, Diogo Dalot, Bryan Mbuemo and Patrick Dorgu also sent their best wishes to Amorim alongside Joshua Zirkzee, who wrote: "All the best for the future boss."
Kobbie Mainoo reacts to Ruben Amorim sacking
Mainoo has been limited to first-team minutes under Amorim this season.
As a result, the midfielder has been strongly linked with a January move to Serie A side Napoli. In fact, Amorim admitted last month that he would be "really pleased" if Mainoo decided to ask him about a loan.
"I’m not going to say what I’m going to say to Kobbie but I will be really pleased if Kobbie comes to talk to me about that," he said. "I just want my players happy and I understand that every individual has their goals."
After the news of Amorim's dismissal was made, Mainoo 'liked' an Instagram post aimed at the former United head coach.
The post included several memes which referenced Amorim's potential payout after being sacked. One of the captions read: "I’d be laughing too after getting a £10mil payout," while another said: "Amorim after hiring all his best mates to be coaching staff and getting them a fat payout."
