Kobbie Mainoo is on the radar of a European giant, who are prepared to splash the cash to sign the Manchester United starlet.
Mainoo has been the subject of intense transfer speculation, having asked for a temporary move in the summer.
He has played 12 games across all competitions this season but has yet to start a Premier League game.
His latest appearance came in his side's thrilling 4-4 draw with Bournemouth on Monday.
The 20-year-old entered the fray as his brother, Jordan Mainoo-Hames, wore a 'free Kobbie Mainoo' T-shirt during the match.
Ahead of the transfer window reopening, Real Madrid have 'inquired' about Mainoo and are willing to pay a huge fee.
Real are in the market to bolster their midfield options, with several big names on their radar, including Chelsea's Enzo Fernandez, Crystal Palace's Adam Wharton and Liverpool's Alexis Mac Allister.
Not to mention Man United's Mainoo.

But Man United are demanding around €90 million (£79 million) for their academy product.
Per the report, Real will not pay more than €50 million for Mainoo.
There's a big gap between what Man United are demanding and what Real would be prepared to pay, making it a complicated deal.
However, Man United and Real share a 'good relationship' which could lead to a compromise that would benefit all parties.

Amorim has been quizzed about Mainoo all season and he revealed that he would speak to him if the player wanted a move away from Old Trafford.
Asked if he would sanction a January loan move should the star midfielder request it, Amorim said: "If Kobbie comes to me and talks to me, I will talk to him.
"I'm not going to say what I'm going to say to Kobbie, but I will be really pleased if Kobbie is coming to talk to me about that. I just want my players [to be] happy and understand that every individual has their goals. The frustration doesn't help anybody."
