Ruben Amorim previously revealed the supposed ‘test’ players must pass before Manchester United register interest in them.
Amorim, 40, has been fairly vocal throughout pre-season, during which Man Utd reigned supreme in the US-based Premier League Summer Series following matches against West Ham United, Bournemouth and Everton.
And the Portuguese recently admitted that he went into matches during the 2024/25 campaign knowing his side could struggle.
"To tell you the truth, it's not how I returned to my house after the games, it was how I left to go to the games, because I felt that sometimes we will struggle," Amorim told BBC Sport earlier this week.

"All the struggles we had in games, I felt it before. That was the hardest part.
"To go to the games and know that we are not going to be competitive - I was really frustrated."
United finished 15th in the Premier League and lost against Spurs in the Europa League final last term, and will no doubt be hoping to improve this season.

The additions of Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Diego Leon should help the Red Devils’ cause, while RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko has also been linked with a switch to Old Trafford.
Sesko, 22, has been linked with Man United and Newcastle in recent days. German outlet BILD claim the player has told both clubs that they are his first choice.
On Monday, The Athletic reported that the Magpies had submitted an improved offer worth €80million, having earlier offered €75million plus €5million in add-ons.
Then the outlet reported on Tuesday that Man United have submitted a bid of €75million plus €10million for Sesko, with the Bundesliga club yet to respond to the Premier League club’s proposal.

It is still unclear where Sesko will be playing his football next season, but presumably, he has passed a new test that Amorim has put in place at United.
Recent quotes from the United boss suggested that he has adopted a new ‘vetting process’ on players ahead of moves.
"It is a key point in our way of doing things now," Amorim said when speaking to the press in Chicago recently.

"It's not just how they play. It's really important how they play, of course, because that is their job, but their character is really important.
"We took a lot of time to get to know the players and talk with everybody before we brought players into our group. That is going to be a rule and will be massive in our decision to sign a player."
