Manchester United appear to have received a major boost in their pursuit of another top target after reaching an agreement for Benjamin Sesko.
After finishing 15th in the Premier League and losing the Europa League final to Spurs, United have wasted no time in strengthening their squad by bringing in Diego Leon, Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo.
But Ruben Amorim has been desperate to bring in a new striker and the Red Devils have managed to beat Newcastle to the signature of RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko, paying an initial fee of £66 million with £7.3 million in performance-related add-ons.
Not resting on their laurels, United have also made contact with Brighton to explore the possibility of a swoop for midfielder Carlos Baleba.

What's more, they also continue to be linked with Paris Saint-Germain and Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Donnarumma was integral in PSG's incredible treble win, which included their first ever Champions League triumph.
Expected to win the 2025 Yashin Trophy for a second time after his fine displays in between the sticks, Donnarumma has been unable to agree a new contract at the Parc des Princes.

His current deal with PSG expires at the end of the 2025/26 campaign and and according to Ben Jacobs, he will not be offered fresh terms.
It means Donnarumma could therefore move on this summer - or leave on a free in a year when he becomes a free agent.
Andre Onana's unconvincing performances in two seasons have prompted United to be linked with a new goalkeeper, with Donnarumma a leading candidate.

PSG will not let him leave for less than €30 million but the club have already moved to bring in a new goalkeeper.
According to Fabrizio Romano, PSG have completed a deal to bring in Lucas Chevalier from Lille.
The Frenchman has penned a five-year deal and is poised to undergo his medical, with Lille receiving a fee of €40 million for a player who came through their youth system to become their No.1.

Donnarumma signed for PSG on a free transfer in 2021 and has played 161 times in all competitions.
