Tim Sherwood has been slammed for his brutally honest view on Manchester United striker Benjamin Sesko despite his brace against Burnley on Wednesday night.
The Slovenian has struggled to get going in a United shirt after being signed for around £74 million from RB Leipzig in the summer.
Sesko opened his account in a 3-1 loss to Brentford and scored his second in a 2-0 win at home to Sunderland at Old Trafford.
He went nine games without finding the net before hitting a double at Turf Moor in Darren Fletcher's first game in charge as interim boss.

The 22-year-old produced a pair of fine finishes 10 minutes apart in the second half but it wasn't enough for a winning start for Fletcher after Jaidon Anthony's sublime leveller.
Former Blackburn and Spurs midfielder Sherwood was part of Sky Sports' coverage for the fixture and at half-time, prior to Sesko finding the net, went in on the striker and said United were "playing with one down" as he encouraged Fletcher to bring on Mason Mount.

"At this stage Sesko would not have a Man United shirt on for me," Sherwood said.
“I would get Mason Mount on the pitch, I’d put Cunha as a false nine, just get some players who can handle the ball.
“They are playing with one down at the moment.”

Following on from Sherwood's stinging criticism, Sesko responded by leading the line with distinction and left him eating his words.
However, the ex Aston Villa manager proceeded to double down on his previous comments in his analysis after the game - reiterating that he does not believe Sesko is good enough to play for the 13-time Premier League champions.
"The positive is Sesko scoring," he stated.
"Hopefully he gets some confidence from that. It’s taken him six months to turn up but I’m pleased for the lad,” said Sherwood on Sky Sports after the final whistle.
"He’s had a tough run and I’d have had him off the pitch at half-time never to wear a Manchester United shirt again. I stand by what I said, he’s not good enough to play for Manchester United.
"He’s turned up for one game against Burnley who are going to get relegated. Hopefully we start seeing something different from him. I'll put him in my fantasy team now."

United fans slammed Sherwood for remaining negative about Sesko even with his goals.
One user on X wrote: "After Sesko scored a brace, instead of praising him, he [Sherwood] decides to attack him again after the game and says he's not good enough. Absoloute disgrace of a pundit."
A second said: "Opinions are fine but this is an ugly look. Distasteful, to be honest."
A third added: "You don’t have to personally destroy a man to critique a football game."
United return to action on Sunday when they host Brighton in the FA Cup third round at Old Trafford.
