A member of Marcus Rashford’s ‘inner circle’ reportedly gave Alejandro Garnacho an insulting nickname during the pair’s time at Manchester United.
Rashford, 27, and Garnacho, 20, have both been linked with moves away from Manchester United this summer after appearing to be unhappy since Ruben Amorim’s appointment in November 2024.
The pair are known to be good friends, and the Argentine appeared to show support for his Man United teammate by recently wearing an Aston Villa shirt, where Rashford spent the second half of the 2024/25 campaign, with the England forward’s name and number on it.

Rashford's future is still uncertain, but he has been linked with a move to Barcelona despite being contracted to the Red Devils until the summer of 2028.
In a recent video interview on the YouTube channel xBuyer, Rashford explained: "Yes, for sure, Everyone wants to play with the best [Lamine Yamal]. Hopefully... we'll see."

He added: "[It is] difficult to put into words what he is doing. He is not supposed to be doing that at 16-17 [years of age]. We have not seen that before. It is a skill to be able to play at that age with that mentality.”

As for Garnacho, who is contracted to United until 2028, he has supposedly been told to find another club by Amorim, 40, with Napoli and Chelsea the two sides linked with a potential move for the 20-year-old.
Of course, it is unlikely that Rashford and Garnacho will be teammates next season, but they are seemingly good friends, as is suggested by Rashford’s comment of “My brother” on the Argentine's controversial Aston Villa post.

However, a recent report from the MEN’s Samuel Luckhurst has suggested that this was not always the case. It is claimed that one of Rashford’s inner circle once dubbed Garnacho a "f*****g Ronaldo wannabe".

Garnacho and Rashford are also unlikely to be the only departures at Old Trafford this summer.
Jadon Sancho and Antony have been linked with moves away following loan spells at Chelsea and Real Betis, while Christian Eriksen, Jonny Evans and Victor Lindelof have all been released, after the club decided against renewing their current contracts.
