Marcus Rashford appears to drop biggest hint yet over next club as he takes part in YouTube Q&A video

Rashford is expected to leave Manchester United this summer.

Marcus Rashford has made some interesting comments about Lamine Yamal in a recent YouTube Q&A session, which will only increase speculation over a potential transfer to Barcelona.

The 27-year-old forward, who joined Aston Villa last season in a loan deal that included a £40 million option-to-buy clause, is yet to announce his next move, although he is expected to leave Manchester United in the coming months.

Rashford and his representatives do not believe Ruben Amorim wants to restore the player to his squad at United, according to BBC Sport.

A number of clubs from around Europe are being linked. Champions League finalists Inter Milan have added Rashford to their shortlist this summer, report The Sun, while Paris Saint-Germain are believed to be long-term admirers.

But the club that continue to crop up in conversation is Barcelona.

In fact, Barcelona's sporting director, Deco, was recently asked about a potential move for Rashford – and he didn't exactly say no to the idea.

"Of course, these two players [Rashford and Luis Diaz], like you mentioned, they are good but have contracts in their clubs, so we won't speak because it's not fair," he said.

Rashford is certainly keen on the idea. In fact, he is prepared to take a significant wage cut on his current £350,000-a-week wage to accommodate the club's financial situation, according to Marca.

And in a recent video on YouTube channel xBuyer, the Manchester United forward made some rather telling comments.

After naming his dream XI, Rashford was asked if he thought about including Lamine Yamal in the team.

"He will be there for sure [in the future]," said Rashford. "It's difficult to put into words what he's doing because you're not supposed to be doing that at 16/17 years old. I don't think we've seen anything like it before."

Eric Ruiz, who was hosting the Q&A session, then asked if he would like to play with Yamal.

"Of course I'd love to," said Rashford. "Everyone in the world wants to play with the best. Hopefully... we'll see."

A hopeful Rashford says we will have to wait and see, but it sounds like the England international is keen on a switch to the Catalan giants, where he would play alongside the likes of Yamal, Pedri, and Robert Lewandowski.

Rashford also gave his take on the Ballon d'Or debate.

"The Ballon d'Or? It depends," he said. "If you're voting for the best player, it's Lamine. If you're voting for the one who won the Champions League, then it's [Ousmane] Dembele. It all depends on how you feel."
